Easy set up
I thought there was something wrong with the way I put the first one together, but the second assembled the same way, so unless this was a problem just with the units I received.. what I said in the title of my review.
The toe-in is less than 5 degrees though, and unless your speakers are much smaller than the top plates, you wont notice it if you dont have to toe in your speakers. (In my setup, my Klipcsh RP-600 II speakers sound better straight out (so not toed in); physically, these speakers fit the top plates perfectly, Its almost like the plates were built for these speakers width!)
Aside from that, the build quality and looks are solid and great (respectively or interchangeably ??) and I dont feel I overpaid. I ran two sets of speaker cables (with banana plugs) through each stand (for bi-amping) without any trouble.
I cant not recommend these stands.
The only complaint that I have about them is that they wobble a bit because the legs dont sit completely flush on the base. They arent going anywhere I just wish they fit better. The angles dont match up perfectly.
I did some lengthy research and took my time reviewing several options before choosing these stands. Imade the right choice and very happy with it!
I had been using a pair of Plateau branded speaker stands for decades but they were looking worse for wear and decided to replace them with these stands.
What can I say - they are cheap and cheerful. No regrets.
